It's the time of the month- PERIOD!
Don't you just want to curse the world up, bury your head in the sand just for a few days and cry for absolutely no reason? Well, that happens to me too. Being on my periods can be one of my darkest, most saddest days of the month. I mean every month! But nothing a chocolate, an ice cream or a cake can't fix depending on the budget of course.
I literally have to live with myself and everybody during those dark days. Walk around campus like I got my life together. Girls know how uncomfortable it is to stand up when your classes are over or struggle paying attention to the lecturer. Everything sucks during that time. 'That time of the month' is a time that requires you to have a friend WHO HAS YOUR BACK. Haha, girls know- I know!
I remember my first time seeing my periods. I didn't understand what was happening to me. So I told my sisi and my mom and they sat me down and told me what I needed to know. I was so sad that my life had come to that.
My point is, every women has to educate themselves about everything that happens in their bodies. Sit your little sister down and show her how to put her pad on and tell her what this stage in life means. Be supportive!
Oh, and I cannot emphasize this enough- carry extra pads for a SISTER. Learn about your periods and stay blessed!
